Kelo-cote is a widely recognized silicone-based scar gel, clinically proven to enhance the appearance of hypertrophic and keloid scars in approximately 82% of patients. It effectively softens and flattens raised scars, reduces redness, and alleviates itching and discomfort. Suitable for both old and new scars, including those resulting from surgery, trauma, burns, and other injuries, Kelo-cote should be applied as a thin layer twice daily on clean, dry skin. Once dry, it forms a flexible, waterproof layer that can be covered with makeup.

Active Ingredients:

Kelo-cote gel contains a proprietary blend of silicone compounds, primarily polysiloxanes and silicon dioxide. These ingredients work together to form a protective barrier over the scar, which helps to soften and flatten raised scars, reduce redness, and alleviate itching and discomfort.

How to Use:

Clean and dry the affected area: Ensure the scar area is clean and completely dry before application.

Apply a thin layer: Gently apply a very thin layer of Kelo-cote gel to the scar. Do not rub it in.

Allow it to dry: The gel will self-dry within about 5 minutes, forming a flexible, waterproof, and transparent layer. If it does not dry completely, remove any excess product.

Twice daily application: Apply the gel twice a day for optimal results.

Minimum treatment duration: Use the gel for at least 60-90 days. If improvement continues after this period, you can keep using it.
